The DVSA has introduced new terms and conditions (T&Cs) for its online business service (OBS) aiming to reduce driving test waiting times and eliminate the resale of test slots by third-party touts. The changes, which were planned and published by DVSA in December 2024 and came into effect on Monday 6 January 2025, are designed to make the process fairer for learner drivers and their instructors. Key updates include restricted access to bookings, where only driving instructors or businesses employing ADIs can book car driving tests using OBS.
